(How to train your sticker dragon)
1. Prep the Surface
Apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface.
Wipe down with:
- Rubbing alcohol (best), or
- Warm soapy water (second best)
Dry completely.
Do not apply to:
- Dusty panels
- Oily surfaces
- Fresh paint
Clean surface = clean result.
2. Peel the Backing
Slowly peel the paper backing away.
The vinyl should stay attached to the clear transfer tape.
If a letter sticks:
Lay it back down.
Rub firmly.
Try again.
No yanking.
3. Stick It Down
Position carefully — you get one good go.
Press the sticker onto the surface.
Rub firmly over the whole design, especially the edges.
Work from the centre outward to push out air.
4. Remove the Transfer Tape
Peel the tape back slowly and low (almost flat).
If anything lifts:
Lay the tape back down.
Rub firmly.
Try again.
Patience beats aggression.
5. Done
Avoid washing or heavy handling for 24 hours.
The adhesive will fully bond after that.
